Author Bio - David Lindsay

Dave Lindsay has an LLB and a graduate degree in English, and has been researching consciousness extensively since 1996, focusing in particular on out-of-body experiences, life-after-death, altruism, human potential, will, self-image, and limitations of the prevailing scientific worldview.

He has given hundreds of courses, workshops and lectures nationally and internationally on those topics, including presentations in the Consciousness Studies program at the University of Florida; the Annual Psychology Convention at Hunter College, New York; UNIV-CON at Pennsylvania State University; the 24th Annual Meeting of the Society for Scientific Exploration; the 1st Global Symposium on Conscientiological Research, and; the 32nd Annual Conference of the Academy of Spirituality and Paranormal Studies.

He is the author of several articles in scientific and popular periodicals, and has revised a number of books on consciousness-related themes.

He was the Executive Director of IAC New York from 2003 to 2007, and in 2008 was IAC's global communications director. He is an attorney and technology-firm CEO, an instructor and researcher with IAC New York, and a director on the boards of the International Academy of Consciousness USA and Australia.
